Ingredient Deep Dive
High-Performance Carrier Oils
Organic Hemp Seed Oil Rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, hemp seed oil supports skin barrier function and helps calm irritation. It’s lightweight, non-comedogenic, and deeply nourishing: ideal for beard and skin health.
NZ High Oleic Sunflower Oil A stable, antioxidant-rich oil high in oleic acid and vitamin E. It moisturises without clogging pores and helps maintain the skin’s natural barrier, making it great for sensitive or dry skin.
Organic Safflower Oil Safflower oil is high in linoleic acid, which helps to unclog pores and promote a smoother, healthier-looking beard. It's fast-absorbing and non-greasy, perfect for daily use.
NZ Avocado Oil Packed with vitamins A, D, and E, avocado oil helps soften coarse hair and deeply hydrate the skin beneath. It also promotes elasticity and reduces flakiness.
NZ Kiwi Seed Oil A New Zealand native powerhouse: rich in vitamin C and omega-3s. Kiwi seed oil supports collagen production, improves skin texture, and soothes irritation without heaviness.
Olive Squalane A lightweight, skin-identical emollient that mimics your skin's natural oils. It enhances moisture retention, improves texture, and leaves no greasy residue.
Organic Vitamin E Oil A potent antioxidant that helps protect skin and hair from environmental stress. It also supports skin repair and prolongs the shelf life of natural oils.
Organic NZ Flax Seed Oil Loaded with alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), flaxseed oil calms inflammation, locks in moisture, and supports skin healing. It also improves manageability of dry or wiry beards.
Nourishing Butters
Mango Butter Rich in fatty acids and vitamins A and E, mango butter deeply moisturises and softens the beard. It’s non-comedogenic and ideal for reducing flakiness and improving hair strength.
Kokum Butter A firm, fast-absorbing butter that adds structure to balms and butters while promoting elasticity. It’s non-greasy and helps repair dry, cracked skin beneath the beard.

Manuka Smoke Blend

NZ Manuka: New Zealand native and known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Manuka essential oil is earthy, slightly sweet, and naturally calming for both skin and senses.

Organic Cedarwood: Grounding and soothing, cedarwood helps balance oil production and can support skin clarity. Its warm, woodsy scent adds depth and comfort.

Organic Frankincense: Traditionally used to calm and tone the skin. Frankincense adds a subtle, resinous note while supporting healing and reducing irritation.

Vanilla (Infused Olive Oil): Made by slowly infusing real vanilla pods into olive oil, this adds a soft, natural sweetness to the scent without overpowering the blend. The infusion also carries the antioxidant properties of both vanilla and olive oil, offering a gentle, nourishing touch to skin and hair.

NZ Kawakawa (Infused Olive Oil): A traditional Māori healing plant used to calm and restore. Kawakawa oil is excellent for irritated or sensitive skin, with a clean, herbal scent.

Organic Eucalyptus: Refreshing and clearing, eucalyptus oil supports circulation and adds an invigorating element to your grooming routine.

Organic Tea Tree: Known for its powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties. Tea tree helps keep skin clear and calm, especially in humid or acne-prone environments.

Other Key Ingredients
Unrefined NZ Beeswax A natural barrier-forming wax that locks in moisture and offers light hold in balms. Unrefined beeswax also has a beautiful natural scent, especially when paired with Manuka and contains trace vitamins and anti-inflammatory compounds.
